I was browsing NYC real estate sites the other day and I found this extraordinary loft. It is located in downtown Manhattan (Chelsea or Greenwich Village or something like that) and it could be yours for just 7 or 8 million bucks.  The call it the authentic loft and I somewhat agree. Anyway, here are some of the pictures of this definitely unordinary place...

What I like about it is that it combines the authenticity of a loft (exposed brick walls, large open space, plain surfaces) with the eccentricity and coziness of a family home (never liked that term, so let's just say coziness). The problem I often have with lofts is that most of them come across as cold, deserted and formal, actually. NYC lofts are also overly industrialized style-wise. This one is a good exception to that rule.

Hey! Well, basically, this is a blog about the interiors that I like. I think it will mostly consist of pictures. I rarely like anything when I look around the interior design/real estate sites, which I think is to do with my very scrupulous taste, so I save every picture I come across that I happen to like. Over time, I collected some I picked here and there. Now, I decide to give them their own space on the Internet. So, enjoy!
